Last year during a family home evening a friend of ours was trying to explain New Year's resolutions to his young sons. He used the example "well, like if Daddy were to say he was going to run a marathon". This caused his wife to just about fall out of her seat with laughter. Which then caused a bruised ego and the "Running Man Movement" was launched. The Thursday night basketball guys supported him and all started training. It will be a year and five months and a little chaffing but this May four of the guys will run a full marathon. The finish line is the fifty yard line at Notre Dame stadium and starts at the College Football Hall of Fame. They did the half last year and are confident about this year. The wives on the other hand are all a little concerned about the condition of our men.
I noticed a pair of socks on Ryan's nightstand. I was curious but forgot to ask him about them. Well, that night my question was answered as Ryan tied them around his knees to secure an ice pack. This has now become a nightly ritual. The men are sticking to their commitment. They've worked out their kinks, found new uses for baby products and after this past weekend's half marathon are ready for Notre Dame! We will all be cheering them on! The girls and I are sure proud of Ryan!
guaranteed to have typ-os, run-on sentences, incorrect punctuation's but at least it's all true
